Resumo: The main purpose of this article relates to the recognition of the changing nature of identity links , as they are experienced in contemporary Western society . We do not intend here to focus on the constitutive aspects of identity, necessarily more biological and psychological, but Center ourselves on the identity representation, more social and cultural roots as well as the feeling experienced by individuals on these representations, a dimension, therefore particularly symbolic.
