Resumo: According to the World Bank and the World Health Organization, half of the world population does not have access to essential health services. Since the state of health is achieved by the complete state of well-being of a population, this is the constant search for humanity. As the 21st century is characterized as an information and knowledge era, more and more efforts are being made to continuously improve these peoples. The pharmaceutical sector generates more than US $ 1.3 trillion/year. The scenario is complex and runs from the basic investigation of drugs and medicines to the appropriation of knowledge in society - the medicine on the “shelf ”. In addition to this complex health system, habits, epidemiology, health promotion, scientific and technological advances, etc. The management of this process is configured as a complex educational paradigm for effective translation of knowledge, whose health assessment must be an integral part of the process for continuous improvement and subsidies to policy makers and decision makers, since the health sector demands the integration of specialists from multiple areas for pragmatic convergence of actions. Thus, an educational approach in this sector, which provides training skills together with professional experience, streamlines and favors the teaching-learning process, with practical resolutions, of real industry problems analyzed in the light of concepts with a strong academic base. The experience of this professional-academic education proved to be promising with subsidies to change legislation, optimization of industrial processes and methodologies for technological development.
