Resumo: This project was developed within the scope of the Master's Dissertation in Information Science, lectured at the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. The aim of this work is the development of a new Human Resources Module in IPBRICK's Document Management and Workflow software, iPortalDoc. This Module is applied in the Human Resources Management of the company Expandindustria SA, a group that holds the IPBRICK brand. To develop this thesis, the Human Resources processes mapped under the Quality Management System were analyzed and the information objects resulting from each one were identified. A diagnostic audit was also carried out according to standard NP 4427: 2004, to understand the requirements in accordance with it and the actions to be taken so that the company can implement a Human Resource Management System. Finally, a Requirements Specification Document for the Human Resources Module was prepared. In addition to the structuring of the module and the specified requirements, the document contains several mockups of the interfaces for the module, according to the presentation of iPortalDoc. As a final result, a theoretical representation model was also developed, within the scope of Information Science, to contextualize the work.
