Resumo: Designing is something we all do or did at some stage of life. The motives and reasons that lead us to draw are diverse and endless: we design primarily to express ourselves, to communicate, analyse, select, explore, interpret and understand what surrounds us. Drawing can be an impulsive act, an escape from reality, not just a way of communicating ideas and projects, it is to liberate the mind and let your hand flow on the paper. The travel diaries are one method used for those designs in a systematic and almost obsessive way in their daily lives. Almost like an addiction, one records by the pencil, everything one's sees. These records, usually daily, are made in small notebooks, which can be described by «Daily Graphic». They are merely «memory deposits»1 that file information allowing, in a sense, to categorize, classify, remember, compare, save, greatly expand information and associate modes that offer an active relationship and interdisciplinary between the past and the present. This journey is reflected around the drawing as a way of thinking. Graphics findings of several authors who, from some strategies, tried to represent what they saw and understood of the world through their eyes. Traces that tell stories and portray moments. Targeted for a moment, capturing and holding all the magic in a sheet of paper where it's revealed a perception of a fleeting and seductive moment.
