Resumo: | The phrase “on care of our common home” is the subtitle of the encyclical Laudato si’. The notion of “care” can be understood as the preservation of the creative capacities found in the various components of creation. The notion of the “common home” is not clearly defined, but can be understood in terms of a salvation promised to all creatures, a salvation that consists in universal communion. This also leads us to take the Earth seriously and to ensure that the diversity of its components contributes to the construction of the “common home”. The theology of incarnation emphasises the plurality of expressions of God’s presence in the created world. This plurality is at the service of the communion of all. |

La notion de « sauvegarde » peut se comprendre comme la préservation des capacités créatrices qui se trouvent dans les diverses composantes de la création. Quant à la notion de « maison commune », elle n’est pas clairement définie mais elle peut se comprendre sous l’horizon d’un salut promis à toutes les créatures, un salut qui consiste dans la communion universelle. Cela nous conduit aussi à prendre la terre au sérieux et à faire en sorte que la diversité de ses composantes contribue à la construction de la « maison commune ». La théologie de l’incarnation souligne la pluralité des expressions de la présence de Dieu au sein du monde créé.
