Psychosocial crises in Malanjin University Students, Angola

Crisis is a transitory state of internal disequilibrium, resulting from endogenous or exogenous factors. As for the determinant events of crises experienced by the participants, financial problems, death of loved ones, suicidal thoughts, change of residence, problems with justice, mood swings and concerns about life stand out. Objective: to know the psychosocial crises in Angolan university students. Methodology: Descriptive, exploratory and mixed study. For data collection, the interview technique was used and the Holmes and Rahe Social Readjustment Scale was applied as an instrument. The study sample was census for both models (Quan-qual). The study was carried out at the Universidade Rainha Njinga a Mbande and at the Instituto Superior Politécnico Dom Cardeal Alexandre do Nascimento, Malanje, Angola. Students with psychosocial crises of both sexes, aged between 18 and 40 years were included. As for the exclusion criteria, students with crisis situations (> two years) did not participate. He was bound only with a period of one year. Results: Regarding the levels of seizures, moderate to severe prevailed for both sexes and marital status. It should be noted that all participants had some level of psychosocial crises.
