Resumo: Deliverable D7 consists of a set of proof-of-concept prototypes that illustrate some particular solutions developed within CORTEX. Moreover, the objective of these proof-of-concept prototypes is to provide technology demonstrators for the technologies developed and used within CORTEX. These proof-of concept prototypes will also provide input for the definition of application demonstrators. The deliverable includes five proof-of-concept prototype demos: 1) Cooperating Autonomous Robots Demo; 2) Adaptation and Fail-safety in Cooperating Cars Demo; 3) Sentient Vehicle Demo; 4) Sentient Room Demo; and 5) Demo of Framework for Testing Safety-Critical Sentient Applications. These proof-of-concept prototypes are focused on: a) communication through event-channels; b) the use of sensor technology; c) dealing with timeliness and fail safety requirements; d) QoS adaptation; e) context awareness; f) sensor fusion; g) the use of a component framework. A text document is delivered along with the proof-of-concept prototypes, which provides an overview of the demos and includes a summary of the prototypes rationale, structure, and purpose
