Resumo: This article reports on the refoundation process of CCG. With a new constitutional member(the University of Minho), new constitution and bylaws, and a new management, and also due to the process of national expansion, the CCG and the University of Minho (UM), one of the most prestigious contemporary universities in Portugal, initiated a careful process of transformation and restructuring in October 1999.
