The present work consists in a Professional Training Report, as an integral and conclusive part of the Master of Sport Management, conducted at the Faculty of Sport of University of Porto. The aim of this Report was to acquire knowledge and also skills related to sports management. To accomplish that aim it was performed the practical application of knowledge acquired in the different fields of management. As a secondary objective, the present Report aimed to conduct an empirical study. The Professional Training took place in the Center of Sports at the University of Porto, specifically in the Summer Camps organized by this institution. The accomplishment of this Report allowed to understand the importance of the involvement of a trainee in an organization through performance management tasks in practical context. In addition, conducting that empirical study allowed the trainee to acquire knowledge in the consumer satisfaction and retention issues, and also in the quality of service, contributing to the practice of management in aquatic activities of fitness program at the University of Porto. Through the contextualization, description and reflection of the tasks performed by the trainee, it was concluded that it was fundamental the realization of a deep and extended conceptual framework of the subjects addressed. It is also understood that the empirical research allowed to obtain knowledge that can be applied also in the Summer Camps context. Hence, the process of events organization requires dynamism with the team work, which allowed the personal improvement and professional development of trainee in the field of sports management.
