O movimento na animação 2D: um contributo para a sua construção

Resumo: | We believe that a clear and unequal definition of the term animation is a complex and utopian task. We can, however, affirm that animation is not restricted to a filmic genre, but rather to a medium to convey a story, the idea or artistic expression of the author, that with the creation of a sequence of slightly different images conveys an illusion of Motion Animation can bem ade with inumerous techniques, from the most analogous processes to the use of digital tools. It is thanks to a plurality of means available to create the various components of animation, that the essential feature - the movement - has been adapted to various visual languages and artistic expressions. Due to limitations of the field of study, in this project, 2D frame-by-frame animation will be the main focus of our research. The present dissertation intends, first of all, through a theoretical analysis, try to understand how different ways to approach and represent the movement in the animation, and how this process can significantly influence the final product. We also propose the development of a pratice study, which consists of the creation of several animated sequences, with the aim of analyzing and experimenting with different ways of approaching movement in animation |
