Resumo: Post partum hemorrhage is a major cause of maternal morbidity and mortality. We describe a case of a woman with post partum hemorrhage due to uterine atony, successfully treated with B-Lynch suture. The authors review the causes and risk factors, and the range of medical and surgical options that may be considered for the management of post partum hemorrhage.
