Resumo: The verbal behaviour is achieved because, in one hand, there is a system of principles and conditions, which are considered as universals behind all the human languages, supported by the biological need, but, in other hand, those elements are part of the dynamic relation of events which constitutes the individual’s context. Those events are not only the brain structures (the mentalist perspective), but also the elements that generate the stimuli context to be discriminated - environment (the functional perspective). After theoretical revision of concepts and about phonetic decoding processes, will be presented results from the tests battery application on phonetic decoding (minimum pairs, segmentation, phonemic blending, sintactical identification, dichotic hearing). The discussion focused specifically on the achievement of second language learners regarding the segmentation (spelling task) and minimum pairs judgment tests.

The discussion focused specifically on the achievement of second language learners regarding the segmentation (spelling task) and minimum pairs judgment tests.Le «comportement verbal” est matérialisé parce que, d’une part, il y a un système de principes et de conditions qui sont considérés comme des éléments inhérents à toutes les langues naturelles, déterminé par le besoin biologique, mais d’autre part, ceux éléments là comprennent une liste dynamique d’ événements qui constituent le cadre du sujet. Les événements ne sont pas uniquement limités aux structures du cerveau (la perspective mentaliste) mais aussi aux aspects externes qui se présentent comme un ensemble de stimuli a être discriminé dans une perspective environnemental (du point de vue fonctionnel). Après une brève révision des concepts théoriques et des processus de décodage phonétiques seront présentés les résultats des élèves immigrants portugais âgés entre 8 et 30 ans, par l´utilisation d´une batterie de tests de décodage phonétique (des épreuves d’identification de paires minimales, de segmentation, de reconstruction phonémique, d’identification syntaxique, d’audition dichotique). La discussion se focalise spécifiquement sur la performance des apprenants sujets de langue portugaise comme langue deuxième relativement aux tests de segmentation des mots (orthographe) et des paires d’identification minimum. Ce modèle d’ingénierie didactique, dans le domaine spécifique de l’enseignement de langues secondes, peut être important dans le processus de surveillance par le professeur des progrès et l’état de la compétence linguistique et la compétence globale des élèves tout au long de l’année scolaire.O “comportamento verbal” concretiza-se porque, por um lado, existe um sistema de princípios e condições que por si só são considerados os elementos inerentes a todas as línguas naturais, determinados pela necessidade biológica, mas, por outro lado, esses elementos integram uma relação dinâmica de eventos que constituem o contexto do sujeito. Os eventos não se restringem às estruturas cerebrais (a perspetiva mentalista), mas também a aspetos externos e que se apresentam como conjunto de estímulos a ser discriminado- meio ambiente (a perspetiva funcional). Após uma breve revisão teórica de conceitos e de processos de descodificação fonética, serão apresentados resultados de alunos portugueses imigrantes com idades compreendidas entre os 8 e os 30 anos de idade, decorrentes da aplicação da bateria de testes de descodificação fonética (provas de identificação de pares mínimos, segmentação, reconstrução fonémica, identificação sintática, audição dicótica). A discussão foca especificamente o desempenho de sujeitos aprendentes de Português Língua Segunda relativamente aos testes de segmentação de palavras (soletração) e de identificação de pares mínimos.
