This report describes the project work for the master’s degree in Drawing, focusing on the scientific illustration of moths, and the production of several associated products, such as the book "Cem Traças" (100 Moths), merchandise material and exhibitions. The process followed in this project is described as such: i) a case study; Ii) learning about the biology of moths, in particular the Sphingidae Family; Iii) the materials and methodologies used in illustration; Iv) the production of a book, other derived materials and communication activities. In the case study, a look was taken at the work of John Cody, an illustrator recognized for his illustrations of saturniids, to collect visual references. The study of biology was essential to try to understand the anatomy and behavior of moths, especially of the Sphingidae Family, allowing to proceed with the illustrations with confidence. In the materials and methodologies section the process of creating all the illustrations is described. The production of the book "Cem Traças", published with the support of “Associação Tentáculo” and the National Museum of Natural History and Science (MUHNAC), is presented. In carrying out this project there was work done in collaboration with the entomological collection of MUHNAC, from which, through specimens studied in said collection, the illustrations were made
