Resumo: In this article we will see how the Portuguese press reported thepassage of Angela Maria by Portugal and then its overseas provinces.The news that we use have been selected from reports, ads, reviewsand interviews in order to give an indication of crossing and to givethe picture of the expectations of a specific time. For us an indicationof crossing is the artistic exchanges and musical perceptions thatappear in Portuguese newspapers and magazines about Brazil -Portugal relationship through our character. A picture of theexpectations of a period is, for us, among other things, the musicaland behavioral perception experienced at the time.
