Resumo: | This article is a research report that presented a treatment technique for Institutionalized psychotic patients in crisis. The aim of this research was to study the physical activity as a mitigating factor of psychotic symptoms, investigating, in this unconventional "setting", the group activities as a favorable element in the perception of others as relational objects. This approach was used as a procedure technique called Group of Physical Activities, which comprised three main stages: walk (round trip institution to a community sports park), sports activities and a symbolic closing of the session. The psychoanalysis represents the theoretical referential for discussion and interpretation of the results. It was concluded that the technique used has led the group towards psychic organization and generated an environment that nurtured the relationship amongst the components of the group, which constitutes itself a legitimate space for expressing affections (...)
