Resumo: Green innovation (or eco-innovations) are innovations capable of reducing environmental damage and may even generate environmental benefits. In addition to this main characteristic, ecoinnovative companies, as part of a very dynamic field within a green vanguard, depend greatly on interactions with other actors in the development of eco-innovations. Thus, the objective of the study was to investigate these interactions in Brazilian companies. The study analyzed information from the last four editions of Innovation Survey (Pintec) - 2008, 2011, 2014 and 2017 - and was based on the application of a selection criterion to distinguish eco-innovative companies from other innovators. Two objectives guided the research: to find out if, for Brazilian eco-innovative companies, collaboration and partnership connections with other actors would be more relevant compared to other innovators; and investigate whether this valuation and inclination would allow eco-innovators to develop more radical innovations. The results indicated that, compared to innovators in general, eco-innovators place greater importance on interactions with other actors. In this case, it is highlighted that collaboration and partnership connections with other actors would enable positive impacts on their innovative performance.
