Resumo: With the ever-evolving digital age in which we live, it is clear that all those who do not actively pursue ways to keep themselves updated and aware, become more susceptible to online threats, especially cybercrime. Alongside the dangers implied in security breaks, data protection is the key factor. Cyber security implies the existence of a secure space in the servers, for the user and for the companies, in which data is protected. To understand the level of impact these cyber-attacks have, one has to comprehend the different possibilities of these attacks and the damage they can cause depending on the context: Malware, which damages the software, Phishing, in which the hacker attempts to obtain data unlawfully, such as obtaining passwords, through the false portrayal of macro companies through emails or telephone contact, among others. In this dissertation, the question intend to be answered is “Which aspects influence safety in the workplace regarding Cybersecurity and personal data?”. This way, a path to the discovery of what impacts the vulnerability to which organizations are subjected to, and the way subject’s behavior affect the security breaches, is paved. It is additionally combined with ways on how to avoid future risk. This study has as a base 4 models (The Theory of Planned Behavior; Information Security Awareness; Information Processing Framework and Information Security Research). The obtained results in this paper demonstrate that the model explains 26% of Compliance and, in turn, is influenced, in a substantial way, by the variable ISA and also by Attitude. The later represents the highest impact on Compliance.

Este estudo tem como base 4 modelos (The Theory of Planned Behavior; Information Security Awareness; Information Processing Framework and Information Security Research).
