Resumo: An accurate model based on Shockley equation is used to simulate photovoltaic modules. This article proposes the use of double exponential model to simulate the electrical characteristics of any photovoltaic panel on market. The modeling tool allows the analysis of the behaviour of electrical characteristics in accordance with environmental changes such as temperature and irradiance. It is verify that these extrinsic factors influence the photovoltaic efficiency.
