Desvelando aspectos musicais e procedimentos composicionais num repertório para Coro Falado

This article describes the musical aspects that constitute the repertoire for Spoken Choir, collective singing modality that covers a vast set of characteristics and techniques that make use of the intonative inflections of speech, such as texts projected through recitation, sprechstimme, recitative declamatory in phrased style, use of IPA phonemes and vocal effects, imitative or improvised sounds that include laughter, falsetto at indeterminate heights, vowel morphing, muting vocal, throat thrushes, buzzing with lips, inspirations and exhalations, among others. To this end, some data will be presented for the purpose of understanding its historical and aesthetic context, with references such as Geographical Fugue (Ernst Toch), Ludus Verbalis (Einojuhani Rautavaara), Living room music (John Cage), Süßer Tod (Klaus Stahmer) and the scenario that permeates them, establishing a relationship with studies and works in other vocal / instrumental formations that notably make connections with the style in question of composers such as Schoenberg, Berio, Ligeti and Arpeghis, calling attention to issues that have hitherto been little contemplated. A brief overview of works for Choir can help in the understanding of the use of the text and its unfolding of speech transposition to music revealing structuring procedures in the field of Composition.
