Resumo: | This document appears within the scope of the master's degree of Physical Education Teaching in Elementary and Secondary Education (PETESE) of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto (FSUP). The purpose of this report is to expose all the pedagogical practice carried out throughout the school year, through a critical and detailed reflection on all decisions taken. The Professional Internship (PI) proves to be an experience, in real context, where all the knowledge acquired during the academic training is applied. Always under the supervision of a cooperating teacher and a mentor teacher. It is, therefore, an essential element in the completion of this master's degree. This report is divided into 5 chapters, which I will enumerate: (1) Introduction; (2) Personal Background; (3) Institutional Framework; (4) Operational Framework; (5) Conclusions and Prospects for the Future. The first (1) serves to explain the purpose of this document; the second (2) describes a brief presentation about me, my academic and sports background and my expectations regarding the internship; the third (3) characterizes the classes I taught, the internship nucleus, the school where I interned and my understanding of professional internship; the fourth (4) is subdivided into 3 areas: area 1 - Teaching Organization and Management, area 2 - School Participation and Community Relations, and area 3 - Personal and Professional Development; the fifth (5) presents the conclusions obtained and some future perspectives, in the context of a general reflection on the professional internship. It should be noted that in area 3 - Personal and Professional Development - is the action research study I developed, related to the theme of psychosocial skills. |
