Resumo: This paper presents two methodologies for the design and development of new products called Design-with- IoT (DwIoT) that aims to integrate IoT technology into products, focusing on a set of guidelines for its implementation, and the concept of Design-for-Automation (DFA), important in the development of new automation oriented products in an industry 4.0 context.
