Audio visual technologies and its applicability in the teaching of nursing procedures

Resumo: | Objective: This study aims to identify the nursing students’ view of the importance of the applicability of audiovisual resources to the teaching of nursing procedures. Methodology: This is a qualitative study with an exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional approach carried out with 22 nursing students from the Wenceslau Braz Nursing School located in Itajubá-MG. Results: 86.36% female, mean age 24.18 (SD ± 7.53), 81, 81% singles, 22.72% elaborated and produced an educational video on spray bath, transfer and dressing of the patient, 95.45% participated in the activity acting during the video, average time spent performing the activity of 2 days with 27,27% and 63.63% said they did not find it difficult to develop the activity. As for the results evidenced by the guiding question, the central ideas were highlighted: It was good, I improved my knowledge and skills; It was good of great value; It was difficult, Innovative experience, with positive results. Conclusion: The use of active methodologies such as video production was significant for the teaching of nursing students. |

Metodología: Estudio de naturaleza cualitativa com abordaje exploratorio, descriptivo y transversal realizado con 22 académicos de enfermería de la Escuela de Enfermería Wenceslao Braz situada en Itajubá-MG. Resultados: 86,36% pertenecientes al género femenino, promedio de edad 24,18 (DP ± 7,53), 81, 81% solteros, 22,72% elaboraron y produjeron un video educativo sobre baño de aspersión, transferencia y curativo del producto, , el 95,45% participó de la actividad actuando durante el vídeo, promedio de tiempo dedicado a realizar la actividad de 2 días con 27,27%, 63,63% afirmaron no encontrar difícil desarrollar la actividad. En cuanto a los resultados evidenciados por medio de la pregunta orientadora, se plantearon las ideas centrales: Fue bueno, perfeccioné mis conocimientos y habilidades; Fue bueno de gran valor; Fue difícil, Experiencia innovadora, con resultados positivos. Conclusión: El uso de metodologías activas como la producción de videos fue significativo para la enseñanza de los académicos de enfermería.Objetivo: O presente estudo abarca como objetivo identificar a visão dos acadêmicos de enfermagem quanto à importância da aplicabilidade de recursos audiovisuais frente ao ensino de procedimentos de enfermagem.Metodologia: Estudo de natureza qualitativa com abordagem exploratória, descritiva e transversal realizado com 22 acadêmicos de enfermagem da Escola de Enfermagem Wenceslau Braz situada em Itajubá-MG. Resultados: 86,36% pertencentes ao gênero feminino, média de idade 24,18 (DP±7,53), 81, 81% solteiros, 22,72% elaboraram e produziram um vídeo educativo sobre banho de aspersão, transferência e curativo do paciente, 95,45% participaram da atividade atuando durante o vídeo, média de tempo gasto para realizar a atividade de 2 dias, ou seja, 27,27% e 63,63% afirmaram não achar difícil desenvolver a atividade. Quanto aos resultados evidenciados por meio da pergunta norteadora, elencaram-se as ideias centrais: Foi bom, aprimorei meus conhecimentos e habilidades; Foi bom de grande valia; Foi difícil, Experiência inovadora, com resultados positivos.
