Resumo: 3D Printing, also known as Additive Manufacturing has the potential to be one of the most disruptive technologies to impact global Supply Chains. In some sectors, the technology boosts some aspects of the production process, while for others it may replace the traditional manufacturing methods. This work project explores 3D Printing technology, its pros, and cons presents some real cases and identifies possible impacts of the technology in Supply Chains.
