No mesmo alvo encontra-se a indústria do skate que sendo atualmente marcada pela forte presença corporativa apela ao surgimento das marcas pequenas e independentes como vetores à solidificação da cultura diferenciada e artística existente na modalidade, estando os próprios praticantes na linha da frente quanto à constituição de empreendimentos associados. Como tal, este documento de investigação tem como objetivo a estruturação de uma ideia que, assente nas linhas tradicionais de um plano de negócios e na realidade global do empreendedorismo e do skate, perscrute a natureza da modalidade e do mercado em Portugal de modo a retirar elações credíveis e viáveis à elaboração de um negócio neste contexto. A Gradual Skateboards, razão pela qual o projeto se movimenta, é uma marca que, sendo pioneira em Portugal pelo seu modelo de negócio, visa fabricar e comercializar tábuas de skate com cortiça para os diferentes estilos ou práticas de skate, tendo por base a qualidade superior nos seus produtos e o profissionalismo nos seus serviços. Em paralelo, procura trazer uma nova abordagem ao skate nacional e saciar a carência que as marcas nacionais atuais possuem quanto à identidade, promoção, dinamização e agregação dos praticantes e amantes deste «estilo de vida».Entrepreneurship is progressively being studied by organizations and institutions due to its potential as a crucial conductor for the continuous development and growth of the various social contexts and current economic sectors. In that same group of targeted studies is the skateboard industry. Currently marked by a strong corporate presence, the industry speaks out to the world in a demand for the establishment of new small and independent brands to act as the main elements for the unification of the multicultural artistic vein that the skateboard industry has. The very same set of people that practice this sport would ideally be the ones on the front line as the establishment of these small associated enterprises. Like these small associated enterprises, this research paper aims to structure an idea towards the traditional guidelines of a business plan and is based on the current situation of the global entrepreneurship and skateboard industry. This document will explore the nature of the sport and the reality of the Portuguese market, in order to recreate the best relations and conditions for the development of a business in this context. Gradual Skateboards is a leading brand in Portugal due to its business model and aims to manufacture, produce and commercialize skateboards made out of corkwood for all the different riding styles and skate practices whilst relying on the superior quality of its products and the professionalism of its services.
