Aprendizagens e desafios na prática profissional de um futuro professor de Educação Física

Resumo: The main goal of the supervised school placement is to provide the preservice teachers with the opportunity to experience practical teaching in the field of Physical Education in educational institutions, while monetarized by two specialized professionals: a cooperating teacher at the school level and the faculty advisor. In this sense, the present written production is entitled of Internship Report and is an integral part of 2nd year of the master's degree syllabus in teaching physical education in Elementary and Secondary education. It is one of the main requirements for obtaining the master's degree and aims to describe the process adjacent to the internship itself. This document was prepared by combining knowledge from the undergraduate degree and the 1st year of the master's degree, also coupling them with theoretical references and practical knowledge derived from the professional practice. During the school year, problems arose across the three cooperating classes, specifically in terms of planning and the teacher's approach. In relation to the students, problems such as low levels of physical fitness and different levels of skill were identified. Therefore, the need to assess the students' performance in the sport of badminton came out of curiosity. Thus, in Area 3, an investigation study will be presented, and it aims to address this issue. It's entitled "Action Research Study: impact of implementing Sport Education and facilitating learning strategies on badminton performance - a study in secondary education." The collaborative work established between the different agents involved in the educational process will also be highlighted, as well as the exploration of different strategies and resources aimed at the daily improvement of teaching practice.
