Solidarity enterprises in Brazil represent one of the faces of social inequality and operate with technical and material limitations that are reflected in the way of producing, managing and marketing. In this configuration, technical assistance is a right to be permanently guaranteed by public policy, in order to create conditions for the maintenance and reproduction of projects, promoting sustainability. This article proposes to understand how the conditions defined by the policy of the public centers of solidary economy (CESOL) in Bahia are developed in the practice of implementing the objective of promoting sustainability to solidary economic enterprises. The qualitative-based research concludes that Cesol's policy fosters institutional and political articulation in the territories and favors, through an appropriate methodology of socioproductive technical assistance, the sustainability of solidarity enterprises. However, there are institutional and political limiting factors that reduce the breadth and reach of the actions developed.
