Esterelatório pretende, num primeiro momento, desenvolver e caracterizar o conceito demuseu e o seu papel em Portugal. Consequentemente, considerámos relevante destacar eaprofundar o Museu Municipal de Coimbra, uma vez que foi o local de realização doestágio.Sustentado por revisão de literatura e investigação teórica, atribuímos o principaltema e objetivo desta pesquisa à descoberta do Mikveh em Coimbra, descrevendo estaestrutura e suas funções, sendo que referimos algum contexto e explorámos tópicosrelacionados, como a presença judaica em Portugal e na cidade de Coimbra.Apresentando, desta forma, uma proposta benéfica para incluir o Mikveh de Coimbra naRota das Judiarias, permitindo o reconhecimento desta estrutura de valor imaterial e deraridade imensurável com um estado de conservação impressionante.This report was carried out as part of the curricular internship undertaken in the2nd year of the Master in Municipal Cultural Policy of the Faculty of Arts, the Universityof Coimbra between January 2022 and September 2022, in the Municipal Museum ofCoimbra. This report aims, at the first moment, to develop and characterize the conceptof a museum and its role in Portugal. Consequently, we considered it relevant to highlightand deepen the Municipal Museum of Coimbra, since it was the place where theinternship took place.Supported by literature review and theoretical research, we assigned thisresearch's main theme and objective to the discovery of the Mikveh in Coimbra,describing this structure and its functions. We referred to some context and exploredrelated topics, such as the Jewish presence in Portugal and the city of Coimbra.
