Considering that some ILs can remain in the polymeric structures after phase inversion, these ILs can offer advantages such as antibacterial/antimicrobial response and ability to disrupt H-bonds. In this context, all tested ILs have been able to dissolve MCC up to a concentration of 4% (w/w), resulting in different polymeric structures, such as gel-like or films, depending on the type of IL and the ratio between MCC and IL. Furthermore, FTIR spectroscopy showed that some IL remains in the polymeric structures, which can enhance their application in the biomedical field.DQ - Departamento de QuímicaLAQV@REQUIMTERUNGalamba, JoanaAlves, Vítor D.Jordão, NoémiNeves, Luísa A.2022-04-12T22:47:40Z2021-12-082021-12-08T00:00:00Zinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/article9application/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/10362/136322eng2046-2069PURE: 42798776https://doi.org/10.1039/d1ra03204finfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (Repositórios Cientìficos)instname:Agência para a Sociedade do Conhecimento (UMIC) - FCT - Sociedade da Informaçãoinstacron:RCAAP2024-03-11T05:14:28Zoai:run.unl.pt:10362/136322Portal AgregadorONGhttps://www.rcaap.pt/oai/openaireopendoar:71602024-03-20T03:48:40.977214Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (Repositórios Cientìficos) - Agência para a Sociedade do Conhecimento (UMIC) - FCT - Sociedade da Informaçãofalse
