Resumo: | Brazil and the World, in the first decades of the 21st century, were shaken by narratives deepening the capitalist model, produced and disseminated through what the Italian Marxist philosopher Antonio Gramsci would call hegemonic devices and the liberal grammar would call think tanks. In our research work, we took as an object of study one of these ultra-liberal private apparatuses: The Ludwig von Mises Institute - Brazil (IMB). Acting in Brazil as a transmitter of the ultraliberal corollary, the IMB played (plays) an active role in several debates, emphasizing the education agendas. This Brazilian think tank elaborated speeches to produce consensus around positions favorable to the objectives of the ultraliberal and conservative movements: i) It denounces the supposed existence of an "immoral" and "ideological" curriculum in educational systems; ii) The defense of the supposed interests of families and associations that seek to regulate the models of homeschooling; iii) And the fight against teachers, supposedly responsible for the "transmission" and "inculcation" of a "hidden curriculum", based on the "ideology of the State". This narrative production found an appropriate locus for its expansion in the Brazilian digital public sphere. Through Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), in line with the contributions of the sociocognitive model of Adrianus Teun van Dijk (2005), we analyze and discuss these discursive practices. Three main categories emerged from this analysis: i) "Discursive practices on State management in the field of education from an ultraliberal perspective"; ii) "Discursive practices that legitimize the operational tactics of the ultraliberal intellectual and academic guerrillas in universities and institutions of official education"; and iii) "Discursive practices in the perspectives of ultraliberal education: ideology and production of radically pro-capitalist subjectivities". The analysis and discussion of these practices reveal the discursive strategies and modus operandi developed by a private apparatus of ultraliberal hegemony - The Ludwig von Mises Institute - Brazil - on the public debate on education in Brazil. Keywords: Education, Ultraliberalism, Private apparatus of hegemony, The Ludwig von Mises Institute - Brazil, Critical Discourse Analysis. |
