Resumo: Introduction: With population aging, the epidemiological profile has turned to non-communicable chronic diseases, and diseases such as cancer have become more frequent, which requires greater knowledge of the health professional to develop the necessary care. Goals: To analyze the development of health care in Primary Health Care for people with malignant neoplasms from the perspective of integrality. Methods: This is a study with a qualitative approach carried out in four teams of the Family Health Strategy and the Expanded Nucleus of Family Health. Data collection was carried out through a focus group with professionals from different professional categories. Results: Data were analyzed through content analysis, thematic modality, which allowed the elaboration of four themes, however the content to be explored in this article concerns the potential and challenges in the implementation of oncological care in a network, contemplating teaching articulation -service and E-SUS as a tool that enhances communication; and as a challenge, the difficult access to specialized services and the devaluation of Primary Health Care by the other levels of care. Conclusions: The team's resourcefulness in scheduling and its readiness was identified as potential, optimizing referrals to specialty services, providing a comprehensive approach. Weaknesses in the organizational arrangements of the Health Care Networks are highlighted, highlighting the lack of communication between the levels of care, the discontinuity of information and the inexistence or little use of counter-referral. For the articulation of Health Care Networks and for Primary Health Care to be efficient, the creation of spaces for discussion between professionals from other levels and Primary Health Care.
