The adoption of technological resources in museological institutions, nowadays, has become a reality. Currently, museums believe that they can improve the interaction with their public and the dissemination of their products and services through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). In this context, technological platforms for collections management are presented as innovative solutions used in museum spaces. However, within the scope of Brazilian university museums, the use of ICT as facilitating resources in the process of dissemination,accessibility and integration of museum services is still uncommon. In these environments, it is also possible to verify that the collections of the information systems of these institutions are treated independently, with different resources and research tools, making it impossible to identify existing relationships within this informational unit. This dissertation presents a case study, developed at the Murilo Mendes Art Museum (MAMM), an organic unit of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), located in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and focuses on the Information System of the poet Murilo Mendes, composed by the bibliographical, archival and museological collections of the writer. The main objective of the study is to develop a proposal for the implementation of a technological platform for the aggregation of these collections, which today are dismembered. The research was divided into three stages: (1) data collection - through a bibliographical/ documentary survey and informal interviews, which assisted in the collection of information about the subject of the dissertation and the institution of the case under study, the MAMM; (2) data analysis - study and analysis of the Information System of the poet Murilo Mendes and of the technological platforms operating in the MAMM, by means of identification and validation of the necessary requirements for an aggregating platform and functional tests in the selected platform; (3) conclusion - diagnosis of the aggregator technology platform to be implemented and the importance of the integration of the collections (bibliographical, archival and museological) of the poet Murilo Mendes. As a main contribution of the study carried out, it is possible to point out the identification of a bibliographical, archival and museological collection aggregation platform, which can be adopted as a collection aggregation model, to be used by museological institutions in a situation similar to MAMM, in order to ensure the most effective and efficient information retrieval.
