It is not easy to synthesize, in a brief space, the vast production of Lullian studies focused on the philosophical aspects of the Majorcan polygraph. However, there are some preeminent topics about Llull's thought which specialists have developed. In recent years, intellectual production owes its consolidation to the critical edition of Lullian works in Latin and Catalan, as well as the translation in other modern languages. Therefore, it has increased the concern about Lullian Work and the research on its intellectual context. It will outline: the emergence of Companions about Ramon Llull; the bibliography on interreligious dialogue and the Lullian project of universal conversion in which medieval academic communities are included; the studies on medieval psychology of knowledge; the Lullian dispute against the Latin "Averroism"; and, the labeling of Ramon Llull as a "layman". Lastly, it will indicate the contributions from the other side of the Atlantic. To conclude, it will be underlining some works that offer a broader perspective about the results of comparative research between Lullian work and its medieval context.
