Resumo: The school placement is the key element in the formation of future teachers. This learning period, in a supervised teaching practice situation, aims at the integration of the preservice teacher in the exercise of professional life. The school placement took place in a cooperative secondary school in Vila Nova de Gaia, belonging to the group of schools with protocol with FADEUP. This report materializes the questions and reflections about the lived experiences of a preservice teacher (the author) during the school placement. Thus, this document reflects the path taken by the preservice teacher who sought to relate the dream to represent of the Olympic Games with her biggest dream: to be a Physical Education teacher. The themes presented in the report are in accordance with the Professional Standards of the Cycle of Studies Leading to the Master's Degree in Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education in FADEUP and is materialized in a metaphor: 1) Flash Interview, refers to the personal dimension, reflecting a tripartite connection between the academic, personal and professional path, which led to the decision to follow the profession of Physical Education teacher; 2) The Olympic Stadium (the school), includes a reflection about the school as an institution and characterization of the cooperating school; 3) Preparation for the Olympic Games, refers to the legal contours through which the practice is operationalized; 4) Olympic Games 2018/2019, contemplates the challenges and strategy used during the teaching-learning process, as well as the research study developed in order to analyse the perception of the school community regarding the concept of Active School in its extracurricular dimension; 5) Unity between Nations, reports the activities carried out beyond the teaching component and the contribution to build the professional identity of the preservice teacher. The school placement year was the culmination of many years of effort, learning and dedication to sports. I highlight all the moments of sharing with my technical team, my athletes and the other coaches. This was a year where all my expectations were exceeded and where I was able to learn and put into practice the art of being a teacher.
