Resumo: Abstract The great majority of malignant lesions of the cervix is associated with human papilloma virus (HPV) positivity and/or altered cytology. We describe a case of cervical cancer with a normal co-test, in which the occurrence of hematometrocolpos in postmenopause led to the correct diagnosis.
