Resumo: The presente document refers to the school placement unit course of the Master in Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education, Faculty of Sports, University of Porto. This practium report aims to present how the year of internship of an intern teacher (the author) at the cooperative school in which he was inserted took place. The internship took place at a school in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia and was supported by the cooperating teacher from the same school and the faculty advisor. This report presents the path of this trainee teacher from the beginning of his academic path, through the insertion in the master's degree until the moment of the professional internship. It also shows how was all the coexistence and learning that he spent in the cooperative school. The relationship with the classes he taught, with his internship colleagues, with the cooperating teacher, other teachers and staff of the institution. This report also exposes the learning that the trainee teacher has obtained along this course, demonstrating the importance of the professional internship for the training of Physical Education teachers. The following is contained, as a form of action research study, an attempt to improve the instruction of the trainee teacher. This study, in order to help the author of this work and, perhaps, other teachers, presents strategies used to improve instruction based on classes taught to secondary classes. Finally, we can see the conclusions and perspectives for the future of the trainee teacher after going all this way.
