Resumo: | E-(m)PACT is an Erasmus + KA202 (Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices - Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training) project. The project aims at creating a model for the efficient combining of simulation and media in the practical training of the students in healthcare education, offering in the same time guidance on how to implement it in any college. The partnership is formed of 6 partners, Romania, Denmark, Portugal, Turkey, Netherlands and Spain covering different cultures, training healthcare at various levels but having expertise in both media and healthcare training. The main objectives of the project are: to improve the quality of education in the field of healthcare (HC), to make HC education more accessible and attractive for the students and to foster the exchange of good practices among the partners and to combine their expertise in developing and delivering the intellectual results of the project. The main tangible results of the project will be: • A starter- package containing: A Handbook on how to implement the simulation in any HC college and a Guide on how media use can enhance and document simulation • A collection of scenarios for basic healthcare practice and a guide on how to produce good scenarios, accompanied by a collection of small videos illustrating the scenarios for basic healthcare practice • A collection of model tutorials for the theoretical and practical training of students used in the regular educational process of the partner institutions. The project will comprise joint short staff training events (3x 5 days) for training them into using simulation and media in training, for developing scenarios and for putting together the above-mentioned outputs and students short term motilities’ (2 x 5 days) for developing and testing scenarios. IT Responsible staff will also be a part of the project from the beginning, ensuring technical support, offering ideas and fine tuning the final versions of the outputs. The project is expected to have a big impact at EU level, offering a model for combining simulation and media in healthcare, as well as guidance into working with both. |
