Resumo: While the number of women in TMT sis growing, their influence on organizations gains importance. As studies found varying results on the impact of female executives, this thesis at tempts to explore the to pic further. OLS regressions are used to analyze the impact of women in TMTs on premia and time to completion of acquisitions. Overconfidence, previously found to impact both dependent variables, is included as moderating variable to understand the implications more thoroughly. Contrary to what literature suggests, no significant results were found concerningfemale TMT members lowering premia or increasing time to completion. Female CEOs ,how ever, significantly increase premia.
