Resumo: Trends in the cultural tourism sector have shown that tourists are moving away from mass tourism, resulting in a growing demand for cultural tourism, as well as a greater interest in the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of destinations. The profile of tourists is also undergoing a transition, as they are now looking for experiences that meet their needs and expectations in a highly personalized way. These experiences must therefore engage them across different spectrums, intellectually and emotionally. The most effective way of transforming a service into an experience is by using creativity. The Orange Economy or Creative Economy sees human creativity, innovation, and originality not only as generators of wealth but also as a way of making different industries more sustainable. It is in this context of seeking creative and sustainable tourism practices that the popularity of literary tourism has arisen, which contributes to protecting and investing in the cultural heritage of a given region. In Portugal, there is a devaluation of the female figure in literature compared to male peers, in terms of education and the way it is presented in Portuguese culture. Even so, there are women who have stood out and been pioneers through their lives and works, such as Florbela Espanca, who lived out her last years in the city of Matosinhos. In this context, this Project Work was conceived - "FEMME: Exploring Florbela's Matosinhos. A literary tour where poetry and feminism converge." - within the framework of the Master’s Degree in Intercultural Studies for Business at the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto. This project uses bibliographical research and fieldwork to demonstrate the viability of this literary tour dedicated to Florbela Espanca in the city of Matosinhos, showing the importance of creating engaging, sustainable, and inclusive experiences.

This project uses bibliographical research and fieldwork to demonstrate the viability of this literary tour dedicated to Florbela Espanca in the city of Matosinhos, showing the importance of creating engaging, sustainable, and inclusive experiences.
