Qualitative data will be analyzed by thematic content analysis. At the end of the analysis of the qualitative data, the connected results will be interpreted, which will consist of a summary of the interpretation of the quantitative and qualitative results to discuss to what extent and in what ways the qualitative results help to explain the quantitative results; Results: Data collection has not yet been carried out, as it will start in April, after a qualification exam by the Psychiatric Nursing program at the University of São Paulo; Conclusions: This research may provide knowledge that supports the viability of the application of Auriculotherapy as an aid in the treatment of emotional and psychological problems, based mainly on its action to promote mental health.
