Resumo: The Professional Internshipis the most determinant step in the preparation of a teacher to be, this due to the opportunity it provides to go inside the profession, living and thinking about the dilemmas of being a teacher, interacting and sharing experiences with those who already know the job, being part of the dynamic of a school and confront his/her knowledge with all the discrepancies and unpredictability that sometimes real school life may bring. "Quantas voltas tem o caminho de volta?"is the focal point from which I start building this document. My goal is to mirror all learning experiences, problems found throughout the way, strategies adopted and results obtained in Escola Secundária de Rio Tinto. This is a methaphorical narrative of a journey along the seas of EF, in a critical and reflexive way. This document is organized in nine cantos/parts: the first one is related to the introduction, where I intend to show its structure and the themes there developed; in the second one, the "navigator" is presented as well as her expectations as far as the sea lane and the journey she's sailing on; the third part describes the ocean and the ships she will use to navigate, all the caravels in the expedition, the crew in all of them and the two commanders in chief: the compass and the astrolabe. In the fourth part I/she analyze/s and dedicate/s mostly to the analyses, thinking and preparation of the nautical charts; in the next one I/she describe/s the first surprises, the art of navigating, the sails used, the routines established, the importance of the relationships among sailors, and the importance of some independence so that the caravel would be successful. In the last part, I/she mention/s my/her participation in the ship and the relationships with all the community, including all the activities organized and in which I/she took part; I/she think/s about the self-growing of the navigator throughout the journey, highlighting the most relevant, important and influent moments and in the last/eighth part, which is about all the struggles and victories with the "Cape of Tormentas/Storms". The narrative ends up with the nostalgia and a sum up of the journey behind and also a presentation of some of the possible future ones.
