Resumo: | Apart from a short description of the dit and the lai, in this paper we intend to gather a number of French texts belonging to these genres and show their affinities with the medieval forms of the short story. With this purpose in mind we referred, in particular, to the Dit de Freire Denize Le Cordelier, of Rutebeuf and the Dit de L’Empereur Coustant. |
