Resumo: The practicum training is a significant stage on the professional development process of pre-service teachers. It takes place during the 2nd year of the Master degree of Teacher Physical Education Program, at the Faculty of Sport in University of Porto. This enables the pre-service teacher to experience the genuine context of teaching and at the same time, it seeks that it uses the knowledge acquired to date, applying it to the practical occurrences (Batista & Queirós, 2013). Therefore, this practicum report refers the experiences witnessed during the practicum, reflecting about them, as well about the knowledge and the professional development that derived from this phase. This same report consists in five major chapters, where the first one "Introduction", explains the objectives of the practicum training and the document itself. The second one, "Personal Background", states the life course, the influences for the career choice and the initial expectations towards the practicum training, of the pre-service teacher. The next chapter is the "Institutional Framework", which focus on the relevance of the school on the education of individuals and on the context where the practice of the pre-service teacher occurred. The fourth and longest chapter is the "Operational Framework", which includes 3 distinctive areas of the pre-service teacher practice. In the 3rd area the emphasis goes to the research study, regarding the expertise in teaching physical education from constructivist perspectives. Lastly, the final chapter "Conclusions and Future Perspectives" reflects on the whole process of the practicum training and the insights provided by the experience.
