Resumo: Objetive: compile structural studies that support and prove the efficiency that Intervention Radiology assumes in the treatment of liver tumors, as a minimally invasive, highly differentiated technique, reducing the need for surgical treatment with an improvement in patients quality of life. Materials and Methods: The method to be used will be the mnemonic PCC, being the P- the target population, the C- the context and the other C- the concept, which will guide the question of the review. And the guide for PRISMA-ScR review reports will be applied as a reference, aligned with the Joanna Briggs Institute guide, constituting a fundamental instrument for the transparency and reliability of this type of review. Results: The analysis of the literature studied still has several gaps. Guidelines of good practices are found in the literature, with regard to the diagnosis and therapy by Interventional Radiology in liver tumors, it would only be important to highlight and improve the documents in the literature, to prove and support all these techniques, further enriching the scientific community. Conclusion: Interventional Radiology is a subspecialty characterized by technology and modernization, focused on state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatments. However, there is still much to explore in this specialty and demonstrate it scientifically.
