Resumo: Introduction: The diagnosis of oncological disease in pediatric age imposes challenges on the child/adolescent and family, due to the disease and the entire treatment process, limiting their normal development in different dimensions: physical, motor, cognitive, psychological, emotional, and social. Objective: To analyze the scientific evidence regarding interventions by Nurse to promote child development in children/adolescents with oncological disease.Methodology: Integrative Literature Review; data collection on June 1, 2023, in the MEDLINE® Complete, CINAHL® Complete, Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. Inclusion criteria: articles produced in the last 10 years, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Results and Discussion: The final sample included five articles, in which it appears that nurses recognize the need to include the assessment and promotion of child development as an integral part of care, in the domains that comprise it: physical, cognitive, social, psychological, and emotional. Conclusion: The awareness of the Nurse in promoting child development in children with oncological disease is fundamental, as it allows them to engage in a humanized way with the child/young person and their family, contributing to adaptation to the treatment/disease process, reducing their impact on the life of the child/adolescent and family.
