Resumo: This scientific research deals with the inseparable relationship between music and the environment, understanding that Music Teaching occupies prime place in the relation between noise pollution and the lack of selective hearing. We aimed to build the concept of Intelligent Hearing, understanding the relationship between Music Teaching and Sound Landscape from the theoretical contribution of Raymond Murray Schafer, the understanding and analysis of the relationship between cultural industry and social environment from the philosophical thinking of Theodor Wiesehngrund Adornment. We established an analysis of the Adornian concept of Cultural Industry, understanding of the concept of "Sound Landscape" and reflection on the place to be constituted by the musical educator. The Participatory Research with a qualitative paradigm was constituted as a methodological principle adequate to our research needs. We conclude that the concept of Intelligent Hearing built in this research has foundation, relevance and translates into a useful way to be used by music education teachers.

Tivemos como objetivo, construir o conceito de Audição Inteligente, entendendo a relação entre Ensino de Música e Paisagem Sonora a partir do aporte teórico de Raymond Murray Schafer, a compreensão e análise da relação indústria cultural e meio social a partir do pensamento filosófico de Theodor Wiesehngrund Adorno. Estabelecemos análise do conceito adorniano de Indústria Cultural, entendimento do conceito de “Paisagem Sonora” e reflexão sobre o lugar a se constituir pelo educador musical. A Pesquisa Participante com paradigma qualitativo, constituiu-se como princípio metodológico adequado às nossas necessidades de investigação.
