Para dar resposta à questão de qual é a melhorsuperfície de jogo, artificial ou natural? existe um número considerável de estudos que incidemsobre maior ou menor incidência de lesões, no entanto, são reduzidos os estudos que analisamo desempenho. O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar a cinemática do salto, corrida desprint e mudança de direção de jogadores de futebol em superfície natural e artificial. Materiaise metodologia: participaram no estudo seis futebolistas (n=6) que realizaram três teste: dropjump, sprint de 10 m e mudança de direção 5-0-5, nas duas superfícies de jogo. Foram utilizadasduas câmaras a 240 fps para a análise cinemática, células fotoelétricas, optojump e palmilhasde pressão. Resultados: no drop jump a altura do salto, o tempo de contacto e o índice de forçareativa foram melhores na superfície artificial. No teste de mudança de direção o tempo paracumprir a distância, o tempo de contacto do último apoio e o comprimento da última passadano momento de mudança de direção foi melhor na superfície natural. Analisado no sprint de10 m o tempo para cumprir a distância, o tempo de contato dos apoios, o comprimento dapassada e o hip drop verificou-se que foi atingido um melhor desempenho na superfícieartificial. Conclusão: a superfície de jogo é uma variável que se tem que ter em conta nodesempenho na corrida de sprint, mudança de direção e no salto (drop jump), existem variáveisque são afetadas pela superfície e que influenciam diretamente o desempenho.Since the development of the artificial playing surface in football, there has beencontroversy around this issue. To answer the question of what is the best playing surface,artificial or natural? there is a considerable number of studies that focus on greater or lesserincidence of injuries, however, there are few studies that analyze performance. This study aimsto analyze the kinematics of jumping, sprint running and changing direction of soccer playerson natural and artificial surfaces. Materials and methodology: six soccer players (n=6)participated in the study, who performed three tests: drop jump, 10 m sprint and change ofdirection 5-0-5, on both playing surfaces. Two cameras at 240 fps were used for kinematicanalysis, photoelectric cells, optojump and pressure insoles. Results: in the drop jump, theheight of the jump, the contact time and the reactive force index were better on the artificialsurface. In the change of direction test the time to fulfill the distance, the contact time of thelast support and the length of the last stride at the time of change of direction was better on thenatural surface. When analyzed in the 10 m sprint, the time to fulfill the distance, the contacttime of the supports, the stride length and the hip drop, it was verified that a better performancewas achieved on the artificial surface.
