Resumo: This dissertation, drawn upon architectural theory, attempts to understand the realms and moments of the production, perception and experience of architectonic space and its bodies. Considering Architecture as indivisible from the relationship that man has with space in time, it is proposed to understand in which way the production of space in Architecture determines actions, relationships and the experience - physical, mental, social and intimate - of the dweller. In the first moment, through Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Henri Lefebvre, we proceed to the identification and study of the three primary realms of Architecture: Man, Space and Time. Though distinct, these domains are not considered autonomous entities, but agents, and at the same time, product of a continuous process of mutual redefinition. Thus, it is intended to hold Man - carrier of body and identity - as responsible for mediating the process of transcending the abstraction that masks space and time; Space is addressed as the horizon of the perceptual experience of the individual and, therefore, inseparable from his subjective presence and action; Time is considered as responsible for organizing the perceptual experience of the relationship between man and space. In the second phase, considering authors like Giancarlo de Carlo, architect, and the philosopher Martin Heidegger, it is intended to understand how the said realms relate in the process of the production of space in Architecture. Through the study of the moments and agents responsible for mediating this process, it is important to examine in which way the architectonic space and its bodies inflect or reflect social and spatial practices. Thus, emphasizing the idea that there isn't only one space but multiple space-times, result of the individual subjectivity, it is proposed to address possible architectonic practices capable of embodying the spontaneous, ethereal, and living dimension of dwelling. This dissertation intends to contribute for the study of the architect's practice, highlighting the need for a critical position in relation to the context in which it operates.
