Resumo: "Archigraphies" translates a photograph written by architecture. By the awareness that we are bombarded by images every day. By its blurred and accelerated understanding, it becomes more and more pertinent to re-educate the gaze in relation to both disciplines. The ambition is to remember the essential role of photography in the dissemination of architecture. A symmetrical work that allows architecture to become a media. The present dissertation explores the complicities between photography and architecture, in the construction of a critical look in relation to the images that suddenly reach us and that are an active part in the construction of an imaginary. "What is the scope of the photographer in the representation and perception of certain places?", central and motivating question of the problematic that this dissertation aims to achieve. In addressing this theme we aim to interrogate the contemporary condition of photography as a documentary object, its power of suggestion and the natural creation of scenarios, equating in depth the nature and scope of the photographic act in relation to the work of architecture. The dialogue between photographer and architect is essential to the creation of a space that surpasses canonical limits of the represented itself, and that raises architecture to a sensitive atmosphere, capable of awakening in us the most intimate restlessness.
