Resumo: | The evolution of the Economy over the years has changed the society's way of life. A strong trend towards the Experience Economy demonstrates the current arrangement, in which the search for experiences is considered a new economic and social paradigm. Tourism as a socio-economic activity follows this trend, evidenced by its changes in public policies, organizations, technology and culture.This work aims to describe the articulation of tourism in the Economy of Experience, focusing on thesustainable and cultural component. As a method, a review of the literature was developed, based on the themes of economy of experience, tourism and culture. Through an empirical research, it is presented anidentification and characterization of the Airbnb Experiences products in the city of Coimbra, Portugal.Finally, a survey is applied to the providers of these services, for a qualitative analysis of its articulation.As a result, it was verified that Airbnb Experience is promoted by members of the local community whoadvertise on the platform and articulate the planning and management of this socio-economic activitybased on the rules of Airbnb, aiming to order to the tourists an authentic experience. |

Uma forte tendência à Economia da Experiência demonstra o arranjo atual, no qual a procura de experiências é considerada um novo paradigma económico e social. O turismo enquanto actividade socioeconómica, está em conformidade com essa tendência, evidenciadas pelas transformações nas políticas públicas, nas organizações, nas tecnologias e na cultura. O trabalho busca descrever a articulação do turismo na Economia da Experiência, com enfoque no componente sustentável e cultural. Como método buscou-se uma revisão da literatura, a partir dos temas da economia de experiência, do turismo e da cultura. Através de uma pesquisa empírica, apresenta-se uma identificação e caracterização dos produtos Experiências Airbnb na cidade de Coimbra, Portugal. Por fim, um inquérito é aplicado aos prestadores desses serviços, para sua análise qualitativa da sua articulação.
