Resumo: Could Floatility GmbH’s e-floater, an electric stand-up scooter, be successful in Lisbon? This question is answered by (i) analyzing the competitive landscape in Lisbon, currently evolving at a fast pace due to entry of new competitors, (ii) interviewing several industry experts of close competitors, (iii) conducting a survey of potential users and (iv) executing a simulation (based on scant data) which attempts to gauge profitability. It is concluded that the e-floater can be a successful proposition in Lisbon, although several provisos and recommendations are made to ensure success
